VPS
A VPS is a virtual server with full root access, on Cloud (Xeon) or Ryzen hardware. The guides here work the same for both.
You manage each server from its server page: open Servers in the portal and choose it by name. The page has the power buttons, the Connect card with its address and password, and tabs for Access, Console, Networking, Rebuild and Upgrade.
Most people start with these:
- Log in for the first time: collect the root password and connect over SSH.
- Set up the firewall: allow what should reach your server, and nothing else.
- Locked out of SSH: get back in through the browser console.

Open a ticket from the portal. A person who can see your servers answers it.
